HILDE KJØNNIKSEN

BGO1 was curated and produced by Bergen Art Museum. In addition the museum invited three guest curators, Anne Szefer Karlsen, Tommy Olsson and Entrée gallery, that were allocated one space each.

I participated with the mural: CONTEMPLATION. The mural depicts two men looking out on a horizon represented by through varying color surfaces. The work deals with themes of observation and the relation between gazing outward or inward. The wall was lit throughout the exhibition period making it visible from the street through the museums glass facade.
